How to calculate GTA 6 clipping CPM
The basic reward calculation is the number of approved eligible views divided by 1,000 and multiplied by the offered CPM rate. A rate of $1.50 and 40,000 eligible views would produce a $60 reward. If only 20,000 of the views qualified, the calculation would give us $30. The CPM rate did not change, only the input changed.
The above-mentioned example is used to show the mathematics and does not correspond to actual offers. The rates should always go into the specific campaigns, as estimations without the proper definitions of metric, rate and other variables will lead nowhere.
What counts as an eligible view
View counts on X, report numbers, ledgers in campaigns' accounts may represent a certain kind of the metric you'll get data from. Counting windows, repeat plays, counting system, geographical restrictions, invalid traffic elimination process — everything may vary. Check how campaign views are measured, and what conditions of eligibility are checked by the source.
Try to avoid combining views of two separate platforms into one without an allowance for such actions in the offer brief. If the clip you take into consideration has 10,000 views on TikTok and another 10,000 views on YouTube, it may depend whether it will be treated as two videos, as a single combination or as one eligible video. Make sure you understand the rules.
GTA 6 campaign view thresholds and payout caps
The minimum view threshold should be satisfied for a post to become eligible for rewards. The cap is the limit the post will not be able to earn more than. The thresholds and the caps are changing the value of any CPM rate offered in your campaign. Ask whether the threshold opens the door for all views or just views exceeding it.
In order to clarify, here goes an example of $2 CPM rate with a cap of $100 per video — when the number of eligible views is 80,000, you would calculate $160, but due to the cap, your reward will not be greater than $100 for this specific post. Along with the cap the budget may be limited, which adds some additional restriction. Better to read all the terms, not selecting only one number among them.
Creator rewards budget vs campaign fee
The minimum budget required for rewards payment is $1,000. An additional 20% campaign fee makes the total $1,200. The budget does not include any other expenses and taxes; both reward budget and management fee are to be kept as separate lines of the budget plan in order not to miss anything important.
With a $2 CPM rate $1,000 budget would provide the capacity for 500,000 eligible views, before any restrictions are applied. The capacity was calculated by dividing the budget amount by the rate and multiplying it by 1,000. It's only capacity; not a forecast or a guarantee. How to compare GTA 6 clipping rates
Even an offer with a lower CPM rate may be better than an offer with a higher CPM rate but with worse requirements. Make up the comparison of the hypothetical offers in your head, taking the similar view numbers for each of them. Consider 0, average and heavy view amounts to compare and apply all the campaign-specific restrictions to them.
Consider how much effort you would spend on the work; authorized stream highlights and original scripted videos require different approaches from creators; CPM rate alone cannot say anything about the profitability of such a task. Measure the time needed for editing and revising as well as paying scheme.
CPM vs flat-fee and other clipping payment models
Fixed fee for a post is offered for posting under certain predefined conditions. A retainer is the fee for a recurring project. Prize pools or rewards are being divided by some other rule. None of them can substitute for a CPM offer. A campaign may include several kinds of payment models and each of them should be defined correctly.
For example, there can be a production fee — cost of commissioned edit, and performance bonus for the views your post gained in accordance with certain conditions. Ask for the limit (the maximum reward for the post), and about requirement to leave your post public during certain period of time. Use clipping vs. UGC guide to define the payment model.
What happens to payouts when campaign terms change
Your campaign may change its terms or stop completely. But to participate in it, you need to know what will happen to your previously submitted videos. Will their counting period continue? Will a budget be reserved for their rewards? Will submissions stop, or will posts already submitted be checked?
Always save the version of the campaign terms under which you joined the campaign. If the cap or the rate for reward calculation in the offer has been changed after you have started working on it — check out what you need to do now. Your owner cannot assume you will do the old task for lower compensation rate, and you should be aware of changes.
Use CPM math to plan your clipping work
Rate allows you to connect the worth of your reward to the numeric quantity of views. It does not mean the campaign creates you clients, regular viewers or fans. Campaign owners need appropriate audience and relevant location; creators still need to prepare the quality footage.
When considering an offer, try to keep in mind a set of variables — metric, rate, minimum and maximum values, deadline, rewarding formula and budget. If you miss some necessary details of calculation for the offer you are considering, then the information is incomplete.
