A clipper selects the adequate moment from an authorized video, edits it according to some short format and publishes it according to the instructions given for the campaign. The creator quick start helps you choose your platforms and prepare for the community. It needs not only technical skills and knowledge, but the understanding of what exactly should be done. One needs to define the point where a moment happens and keep in mind all the previous actions and events. One should make the beginning of a clip easy to understand by the person who has not seen the original footage before.
Making a clip is not posting any popular video because it is interesting to watch on YouTube. One should take an authorized source, make an edit based on a brief, choose an adequate publishing channel that meets the requirements. Some campaigns can be open for everyone and some other may have some requirements concerning audience location, age and other aspects. Read the description of a campaign thoroughly before working on it. The GTA 6 clipping beginner’s guide discusses the workflow and the difference between an acceptable short and a particular submission that is unacceptable according to the brief of a campaign.
Start with taking an authorized source video and noting down the moment which is worth sharing. Understand the surroundings of that moment to see what happened before and what happened next. First, one should make the edit to see what exactly he has, then polish it. One should make the clip understandable even if it is played at low volume, but the subs must not misrepresent what has been said.
The export of the ready clip on your mobile device allows seeing all the texts that are hidden by the interface, unseen actions, weird edits or wrong spelling of the subtitles in it. Keep all the files, including the source video and ready-to-use project file. It is unnecessary to use any specific editors in order to submit your video for the participation, unless it is required for some reason. Our short-form clip editing guide tells about editing, not about how to enhance the performance of the edit with some specific effects.
CPM means the payment for 1,000 approved eligible views of your video in particular campaign. For example, a payment for the CPM $2 equals $20 in the case of the gross reward from 10,000 approved eligible views in total before any caps or provider deductions. Just the example of earnings from CPM rewards is considered in this description and nobody guarantees that you will actually earn it. The number of views can be less than expected or they can fail some requirement or fall out of earnings periods.
Consider the following before participating in a campaign: the CPM rate, the views number which gives you the opportunity to earn the rewards if any, the maximum reward amount in dollars, dates of a particular campaign, remaining budget and all other payout conditions. Check if a provider treats all platforms of theirs separately and learn the requirements to pay. Detailed information is provided in our clipping CPM and rewards guide. Never confuse a public counter of views and number of paid out balances from campaigns. The views must be eligible, approved by the provider and earned under some specific conditions. All payments depend on the verification of your agreement.
The excellent clip becomes ineligible in case the submission falls for some criterion such as lack of credits, unapproved source footage, lack of disclosures or inappropriate place for posting. It is important to read a brief of the campaign, to select the right moment and to check it before submitting a clip. It is useful to make yourself a checklist in order to avoid making such mistakes while sending several clips for the same campaign.
In case any requirement or rule becomes ambiguous for you, write to the official channels in order to find out the exact meaning of the term before posting your submission. Nobody guarantees that the rules of one campaign will be equal to those of the other ones. Keep together all needed information such as URL of your original source, URL of the final video, date of the posting and other data, if they are required. The clip submission and approval guide tells how to check whether your video matches the brief. You should be careful about caption's accuracy in particular since changing meaning or describing GTA 6 speculation as the verified fact ruins the situation. The editing is the key part of your job.
One's portfolio can show his/her ability to select the right moment, explain to the audience what has happened and finish the task according to the requirements. Use legal sources only and label your practice footage in accordance with your intentions. Several successful edits describe the skills of the user better than dozens of copies.
Never buy views or engagement, do not use stolen accounts or false claims on the achieved success. Such activities are not allowed. Take care of the safety of the account data and take part only with the help of the official destinations for the campaign. Learn how to find opportunities in the clipping jobs guide.
Check our GTA 6 clipping campaign directory for public funded clipping campaigns when enrollment opens. Educational pages, sample CPM formulas and budget samples are not campaigns, and therefore cannot be considered job postings either. Always check whether a campaign is funded, accepts posts, and has a confirmed provider. Information regarding eligibility, payment, and rewards can be found inside the actual brief.
Before finding out which campaign is suitable for you, you have to learn working with the material that you may use, to improve your skills with subtitles and learn the file organization system. Check our guide to earning from GTA 6 clips, get familiar with the process and do not expect the steady income. An illustration of CPM rate cannot and will never be the future income.
