Give every GTA RP clip a job
Clipping GTA 5 roleplay server recordings is an excellent way to create short videos introducing the community to outsiders. An episode may entertain a potential recruit, explain how roleplay works, or encourage them to apply. Make sure you understand which purpose matters before asking an editor to cut footage.
Indicate the objective near the original file: civilian roleplay for a mechanic shop scene and patient storytelling for a courtroom one. This way of approaching your campaign objectives is explained on the GTA roleplay server clipping campaign page.
Choose RP moments new viewers understand
Players already know their characters, existing conflicts, and server rules. The new viewer doesn't have all this information. Therefore, you should search for a scene containing a clear situation, a decision by one person, and a reaction that makes sense. It should contain enough content to explain the reason for the clip. If the editing process cuts the part needed to understand the joke, a friendly discussion can look like an argument.
Useful content may include a first day at a civilian job, a character who learned a rule of life in a particular environment, an organized event, or just an unexpected conversation. Show different parts of server life through this campaign. Repeated chase clips can lead viewers to expect constant action, even if your server emphasizes slow-paced, serious roleplay. Try to align the presentation with the experience a player will find.
Create a GTA 5 server source pack
In order to start editing, you need to add the video itself and the creator's permission to clip it. In addition, add some timestamps and describe what was happening there. Specify whether character names, nicknames, or the server logo should appear. A server owner's approval cannot be assumed to include the recording creator's permission. Clarify all these details before including the video in the folder, especially in the case of footage provided by an outside streamer.
Remove private messages, account details, staff discussions, and unrelated moderation discussions from the source pack. Music and third-party materials should be reviewed, too. It is a set of editorial tools, not a substitute for the rules you still have to follow. Our clip rights guide provides some guidance on how to do it properly. Identify the game accurately: FiveM is only a GTA 5 multiplayer framework and videos created using it shouldn't be called GTA 6.
Keep the roleplay story clear for editors
Give a description of the character's objective in the scene and the intended viewer. Ask for legible captions and clear speech, and crop the scene so the action of interest stays visible. A vertical format may need a different crop. Check the clip on a phone before approving it, since subtitles may be unreadable beneath the app’s control buttons.
Provide some information at the beginning of the scene in the form of contextual description. It helps more than a huge server logo. Let this scene convey all the meaning and then use a simple call to action. The roleplay short-form guide will teach you how to adapt a scene for TikTok and other short-video formats in detail.
Send viewers to the right server page
A viewer interested in the civilian side of the community should find information about it before reaching an unexplained application page. State the game you use, its language, play schedule, roleplaying policy, and instructions on how to apply on the destination page. If it isn't open for applications, tell people to follow the server's updates. If an interview is needed, make this information apparent before viewers invest time in applying.
Make sure that each clip is about only one primary action. It can be reading the rules, viewing an event announcement, or applying to the whitelist. Make this call to action clear and easy. The objective of the GTA RP server promotions is to attract viewers who already understand something about your community. It is not simply about recording the largest possible number of clicks.
Separate clipper rewards from player recruitment
View-based CPM campaigns reward eligible approved views that comply with the written rules. Recruitment results are a different kind of data. Define the view window, permitted platforms, review rules, reward cap per video, and remaining budget. Don't quietly change the previously agreed view reward into a player recruitment reward.
For planning purposes, GTA Clipper has a minimum $1,000 creator rewards budget plus a 20% campaign fee ($1,200 before applicable third-party processing fees). See the campaign pricing details. Confirm funded campaign availability and payment conditions; downloading a brief does not fund or launch a campaign.
Measure who joins your GTA RP server
Check approved clips alongside destination visits, completed applications, and participation after joining. A video with fewer views can introduce more suitable players than a viral joke. Ask your moderators if recruits understood everything correctly. Collect aggregate information instead of personal data.
Save the clips that attracted the right players, clarify unclear calls to action, and change destinations causing trouble. As for a paid distribution plan, go ahead with the FiveM server advertising guide. Store the next plan for a campaign in the campaign planner, including its source permissions and recruitment goals.
